World Squash Day and More!

Good Morning All,

As mentioned in my previous email, World Squash Day is coming up on the 15th of October. I have attached a document with more details.

It would be great to get as many existing players as possible to come down to show off the talent The Elwick Club has so let me know if you can make it. I know Canterbury Squash club have an existing one day tournament on the same day so don’t worry if you can't make it. If you have any kids and want them to try this amazing sport then bring them down to show them how it’s played!

If you have any existing/old squash rackets or shoes sitting around the house can you please donate them to the Elwick Club for first time players to try out squash. If they shoes are fairly clean and not falling apart then drop them by and I’ll spruce them up the best I can.

Sam mentioned Hythe Squash Club run a WhatsApp group for players to communicate more effectively (organising games after cancellations, selling unwanted rackets/shoes, organising socials, etc). I will be aiming to set one up and will look at the people who play the most through the booking system over the last couple of years. If you specifically do not want to be added to this group then please let me know with a text or reply to this email. (Tip: You can mute the group through WhatsApp settings if it all gets too much)
