Kent Winter Squash League 2019/20

Good Morning Guys

As some of you may know, last year's number one (Alex Payne) has decided not to play for the Elwick Club in the upcoming Kent Winter Squash League.

Since we struggled to avoid relegation last season even with Alex at the helm, it makes sense to drop down into Division 3 where we can be more competitive and potentially have a development team to allow more players at the club to experience competitive Kent League squash.

If anybody would be prepared to run this team, please could you let me know, because I will be standing down as the Elwick team captain. I will still be on hand to help wherever needed, such as helping with the Kent League registration process and how to work the online system.

I will also still be running the internal leagues, but I will no longer be running the Elwick squash team.

For those players who do not wish to play in Division 3, I have been contacted by Gary Hollamby at Hythe Squash Club and he has invited anyone who is interested to apply for a place in one of their teams for the upcoming season.

I would like to thank everyone who has played for the Elwick Club over the last few seasons, and who has supported me in my role as team captain.

Many Thanks

Sam
