Squash Court Re-Opening

Good Morning Squash Players

As I am sure you are all aware, the UK Government has allowed squash courts to re-open from 25th July. In order to keep the squash court and our members safe, please read the below guidance carefully before returning to the club to play.

Until further notice, the club's opening hours will be as follows:

Monday: 9am - 3pm (closed Monday evening)
Tuesday - Friday: 9am - 3pm and 5pm - 9pm
Saturday - 9am - 9pm
Sunday - 9am - 3pm (closed Sunday evening)

Please continue to use the online booking system as normal. This has been updated to allow for the new opening hours.

We will be providing anti-bacterial handwash stations in and around the squash court. Please wash your hands thoroughly at one of these stations both before and after you have played.

There should be no more than two players on court at any one time. Once you have played, please leave the club in a timely manner.

There should be no more than two people in the changing room at any one time. If you are waiting to use the court, please wait in the viewing gallery or outside the changing room until the players have finished their game and left the changing room. This may mean some small time delays, so please be patient if the players before you over-run by a few minutes.

Do not use the showers in the changing room. These are closed until further notice. The downstairs toilet can still be used, but please wash your hands thoroughly once you have finished.

When playing, please refrain from wiping sweaty hands on the walls and other surfaces of the squash court. Players should bring a towel that can be kept in the front corner of the court, and this should be used in between games or points to dry hands.

Please keep your distance from other members when you are inside the club and respect current social distancing guidelines.

If you or anyone from your household is feeling unwell, even with mild symptoms, please do not come to the club. It is advised to follow NHS guidelines and report your symptoms to us for tracing purposes.

Thanks, and stay safe.
